The December Movie Releases We Have So Far

With the exception of June releases, the Christmas week and day releases are by far the most anticipated. Only the movies that they know for a fact are going to make a ton of money are released on that day. Sometimes leading to studios changing their release dates when they know they won’t be able to go up against any “Goliath” films, i.e. Avatar. This year we have something for everyone. We have two movies for our action junkies, a kid’s movie, a documentary, and a movie about a father’s love. All of the movies will have a Wednesday release on December 22, with the exception of American Underdog, which will be released on December 25.

A Journal For Jordan was directed by Mr. Denzel Washington himself and stars Chanté Adams and Michael B. Jordan. The movie is based on a true story about 1st Sgt. Charles Monroe King who, before being killed in combat, wrote a journal for his soon-to-be-born son to help him navigate life without his father.

Any and all information for this new Matrix movie is locked down tight. Only the actors and director know what in the world will be happening in this movie. The only information we have is the cast. We know that Jada Pinkett-Smith, Carrie Ann Moss, Keanu Reeves and Lambert Wilson will be reprising their roles. Unfortunately, Laurence Fishburne will not be making a comeback. It seems that they took one of the video games as canon and his character was killed. We don’t know exactly who Yahya Abdul-Mateen II will be playing, maybe a younger Morpheus or even an agent. All we know is that we get to see his chocolatey face on the screen and I know he’s going to do amazing in his role.
